Custom cabinetry & joinery in Pakenham & Cardinia.
Australian-made custom cabinets built to your exact layout - soft-close hardware, butler’s pantry and island solutions, and every millimetre used. Not flat-pack, not off-the-shelf modules that leave you filler panels and wasted corners.
Why custom beats flat-pack.
The original builder kitchens across Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside and Heritage Springs were built from fixed-size modules - which is exactly why they waste so much space. A 90mm filler panel here, a dead corner there, a 300mm gap to the ceiling collecting dust. Custom cabinetry is measured and made for your room, so the cabinets run floor-to-ceiling, the corner becomes a carousel or a deep drawer, and nothing is wasted.
What you get as standard.
- Soft-close everywhere - Blum or Hettich hinges and full-extension runners on every door and drawer.
- Moisture-resistant carcasses - HMR board so the sink and dishwasher cabinets do not blow out over time.
- Cabinets to the ceiling - or a bulkhead, your call - no dust gap.
- Solved corners - carousel, magic corner or deep drawers instead of a black hole.
- Integrated bins and drawer organisers where you want them.
Door finishes.
- Polyurethane (2-pac): seamless painted finish, any colour, the premium look. Best for shaker and flat-panel doors.
- Laminate / thermolaminated: hard-wearing, huge colour and texture range, the value pick for estate renovations.
- Timber veneer: real grain for a warm, natural kitchen.
- Shaker profile: classic framed door, very popular in Beaconsfield’s established homes.
Butler’s pantries and islands.
A butler’s pantry is the most-requested addition in the larger Heritage Springs and Beaconsfield homes - it keeps the main kitchen clean by hiding the toaster, kettle and prep mess. We can usually borrow 1.2-1.5m from an adjoining laundry or walk-in cupboard. A custom island ties the kitchen to the living zone and can carry the sink, cooktop or just seating - sized to your room, not a catalogue.
Cabinetry pricing.
Custom cabinetry for a standard estate kitchen runs $12,000-$25,000 for the cabinets alone. A butler’s pantry adds $6,000-$12,000, a custom island $4,000-$10,000. Worked example: a Lakeside open-plan kitchen with ceiling-height 2-pac cabinetry, a 2.6m island and a compact butler’s pantry - about $28,000 in joinery before benchtops and appliances.
