Five ways we renovate a kitchen.
From a budget door-and-benchtop makeover that refreshes a Cardinia Lakes builder kitchen, through to a full custom renovation with a stone island and butler’s pantry in Heritage Springs. We do the design, the build and every trade.

The ageing estate kitchen.
Pakenham’s first big estate wave — Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside and Heritage Springs, built in the early 2000s — is now 15 to 20+ years old. The original builder kitchens (laminate doors, melamine carcasses, 33mm laminate tops, builder’s–grade appliances) are reaching the end of their life all at once. We renovate these every week and know exactly where the corners were cut: undersized cabinets, no soft–close, a wasted corner, and an island that was never there.
The 2024 engineered–stone silica ban.
From 1 July 2024 it is illegal to manufacture, supply or install old high–silica engineered stone in Australia. Every benchtop we now fit is a compliant low–silica or silica–free engineered product, natural stone, porcelain or laminate. If a quote still lists the old quartz product, walk away — that installer is putting their stonemasons and your compliance at risk.
Renovate, don’t relocate.
With around 255 new dwellings a year and the Pakenham East precinct set to deliver 7,000+ homes, the corridor is full of mortgage–belt families weighing up moving versus renovating. Once you add stamp duty, agent fees and the price gap to a newer home, a $40,000 to $60,000 kitchen renovation almost always wins — and it is the renovation that returns the most at resale. We design for the way your family actually uses the kitchen, not a showroom photo.
Where we renovate.
We renovate kitchens across the full Cardinia Shire — the established estates of Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside and Heritage Springs, the newer Officer homes, the high–end blocks of Beaconsfield, and the smaller localities around them.
