The Cardinia growth corridor is one of the fastest–growing parts of Melbourne, adding around 255 new dwellings a year, with the Pakenham East precinct alone set to deliver 7,000+ homes. But the bigger renovation story is the existing stock: Pakenham’s first estate wave — Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside, Heritage Springs — is now 15 to 20+ years old, and those original builder kitchens are reaching renovation age all at once.
